Why the Church of Christ?

"But sanctify the Lord God[a] in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear..." (1 Pet. 3:15)

Are you a member of a church? Why? More and more people find church membership totally unnecessary and unappealing. Those who choose it have various reasons with little or no spiritual quality. "This church has a beautiful building!" "This church has the best day care program in town!" "All my friends go to this church!" "My grandfather was a preacher here." The purpose of this series is to look into the Bible to find the value of church membership and true and good criteria for what church we should be a part of! We hope you enjoy and are blessed!

Today there are hundreds of thousands of churches! But is this right? Did Jesus build them all? Did Jesus build any of them?

Does God find favor with the divided and fractured state of believers in Jesus Christ?
